As part of the Forum, Yurii Zarko, Mayor of Bilopillia community, Sumy region, will share experience in organizing population evacuation in wartime conditions.
The event is held within the framework of a project supported by the European Commission under the EU Civil Protection Mechanism (UCPM).
Bilopillia community is a border area that is regularly subjected to enemy shelling. The evacuation is critical to save the lives of the residents. It has been going on since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
Yurii Zarko will talk about the current state of the evacuation, the problems and challenges that arise during the organization of this process, and the importance of attracting assistance from international organizations. We will also consider how to improve cooperation at all levels to make the evacuation process as efficient as possible.
