A strong and effective partnership of amalgamated territorial communities is an integral part of building a strong, capable and self-sufficient European-style local government.
The association is called to unite territorial communities and become their voice at the national and regional levels. Our organization is a platform on which compromise solutions are built between state policy and the needs of communities for a balanced reform of the territorial organization of power.
We have effective tools to realize the interests of amalgamated communities and offer members of the Association exclusive access to a wide range of services and opportunities.
Participation in legislative activities:
The Association actively cooperates with government agencies on all major issues of regional and local development, and if necessary initiates such cooperation
Involvement of local self-government in participation in the legislative support of decentralization will allow the reform of local self-government to take place as a systemic transformation
Expert and consulting support:
Continuous monitoring and analysis of problems that arise in the process of unification of territorial communities, as well as joint search and decision-making for their rapid resolution
Providing practical recommendations for the creation of innovative and effective governance structures in local governments
Cooperation with international organizations:

Actively expanding the geography of international cooperation to establish partnerships between amalgamated territorial communities members and foreign institutions and public associations

Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SALAR) and SKL International, the Polish Foundation for International Solidarity, and the Council of Europe Office in Ukraine
For its members, the Association organizes various training events to improve the professionalism of local government representatives in the context of local government reforms, territorial organization of government, changes in legislation, etc.
The Association regularly organizes conferences, round tables, forums to highlight the main issues of the amalgamated territorial communities, as well as the adoption of a consolidated position in one area or another
Exchange of experience:
One of the main functions of the Association is to create a platform for the exchange of experiences and best practices of local self-government in order to build the institutional capacity of each community
The association provides the technical assistance needed to implement innovative and creative solutions in your community
