34 km from the border, 4 years of distance learning, constant threats of ballistic missiles – despite the challenges, the Krasnokutska community of Kharkiv Oblast finds a solution.
🔸7 educational institutions, including 2 kindergartens with simple shelters, 2 educational institutions with radiation shelters.
Construction of protective structures – in 2025, it is planned to build new shelters in two lyceums.
🔸Safety classes – 4 hub lyceums equipped to teach the rules of civil protection, self-defense, and healthy lifestyle with the participation of the SES, police, medics, and combatants.
🔸Fire and rescue infrastructure – in 2024, a local fire and rescue unit was established, and a fire station with three vehicles and equipment was opened.
🔸Rescuers, together with community police officers, conduct practical safety training for employees and students of educational institutions.
🔸Safety points – in 13 educational institutions, during emergencies, community residents can get warm, recharge their phones, rest and get warm food.
🔸Police stations – 4 police officers work on the territory of the community and educational institutions.
The municipality is not resting on its laurels and continues to work on improving the security system, expanding the network of shelters and new initiatives to prepare young people to act in extreme conditions.
